About Monkey's Business

Based in Providence, Rhode Island, we craft innovative 3D printed therapeutic sensory tools and everyday practical items designed to bring comfort, focus, and joy to neurodivergent minds and busy hands.

How a little monkey inspired our name

Monkey's Business is lovingly named after our granddaughter, Remington. When she was just over a year old, she started getting into absolutely everything! We affectionately nicknamed her "Monkey." Whenever we began printing our first creations, she would eagerly claim that everything coming off the build plate was hers. Naturally, our craft could only be called one thing: Monkey's Business.

Born from personal experience and care

We bought our first 3D printer in February just to explore what was possible. Living with ADHD and panic disorder, and working as a substance use disorder counselor, we set out to create tactile tools that could truly support regulation both at home and during counseling sessions. What started as personal experiments quickly revealed the life-changing power of purposeful sensory design.

The moment we found our calling

At our very first public market, a young autistic boy walked up and picked out one of our sensory fidget items. Seeing the pure joy across his face as he walked around the event for hours, clutching his new companion with a beaming smile, opened our eyes completely. We realized our prints are not merely toys—they are accessible tools for comfort, calming stims, and daily confidence.

"The owners were amazing because they encouraged my son to pick up items and try them out. The items being sold aren't just toys, they are tools, and seeing them in action to calm a stim was mind-blowing! I am 200% happy with my purchases."
